ENG 90 Basic English is designed to prepare you for success in ENG 101 and 102, the required English courses in the general education program.  The course emphasis in ENG 90 is mainly on writing; however, the ability to write well depends on an understanding of the rules of Standard Written English.  Therefore, a significant portion of the course will focus on a review of these grammar rules.
