| Designing Effective Writing Assignments in Introductory Writing Courses. Presented Friday, October 20, 2007 during First-Year Writing Norming Session. Saw and met the need for a workshop on designing effective writing assignments in the introductory writing course. Presented and designed a handout with background and materials as tools to help instructors think through sequencing assignments, tying the assignments to course outcomes, and accommodating student needs with thorough assignment sheets. |
